“Pick Them Up! Pick Them Up!”

It looked like parents and children were recollecting the childhood rhyme “Bits of paper, Lying on the ground, Makes the place untidy, Pick them up!” and putting them in practice on 15th February 2008, where members of Friends’ AID and well wishers were plunged with a drive to clean up the strewn coral pieces (which was causing inconvenience to walkers as well as the people hauling cargo in their wheel barrows) near the jetty and it’s surrounding area of 25,000 square feet was cleaned and the collection was dumped in a separate place, which was dug for dumping these pieces.

The participation of high spirited people of both young and old was highly encouraging.
